ASCEND support for Save Our Seniors

ASCEND facilitates the exchange of skills and experience within a community, valuing and rewarding the work done in the “core economy” of family, neighborhood, and community. We formally and tangibly recognize the economic value of labor services that are not traditionally traded in the formal monetary economy, but that often form the basis of valuable social capital.

Our current state of society has frozen people in fear, isolation and uncertainty. Federal and many other philanthropic sources have frozen their funding. Therefore it is up to us to provide what’s needed.**
