We connect people across Moffat, Beattock, and the wider Upper Annandale area — and welcome members from neighbouring communities too. Our members exchange time, skills, and occasionally goods to help each other with everyday tasks, sharing practical help and friendly support, just like good neighbours do.

We believe in building a strong, caring, and resilient community where everyone’s time and talents are valued equally. Whether you’re offering a hand, sharing something you no longer need, learning a new skill, or getting a bit of help when you need it, the Timebank is here to make connections and strengthen local ties.

The reward is simple — time. For every hour you spend helping someone, you earn an hour’s credit you can use to ask another member for help (or something useful) in return.
