Before you begin, you will be asked to provide email addresses and phone numbers for two personal references so you may want to pause here. The people you choose cannot be family, or members of your household, and you must have known them for at least one year.

We ask for personal references to help protect the safety of our members and to promote a positive time-banking experience. When we have received personal references, we will arrange to meet with you as soon as possible to explain how things happen and to help familiarise you with Portobello Timebank. This is a pre-requisite (as from 26/06/2026) before you can be admitted as a member and given access to "Time and Talents" (TNT) which is the 3rd party app we use for all our timebanking and member to member communication.

TNT is run by hOurworld who have their own Terms or Use and Privacy policy which you will ultimately need to accept, along with our own Terms of Service.
