How to Join

1. Fill in the joining form

• Your details are kept private and are only shared with Timebank Auckland administrators (unless we are legally required to share them).

• Individuals and informal groups need to explain how they are connected to the timebank.

  • If you have no existing connection, we ask for one character referee to help build trust within our community.
• Organisations and businesses do not need a referee.
• Applications usually take about one week to review.

2. Application processing

Once your application is approved, you’ll receive information on how to:

• List offers and requests
• Connect with other timebank members

Important Notes

• While we do our best to get to know our members, everyone is responsible for their own wellbeing and using common sense when engaging with others.
• If you have particular vulnerabilities, you are welcome to involve a trusted person as a support or advocate.
• Timebank Auckland is a community network and cannot provide supervision or act in a caregiving role.

We reserve the right to decline applications from people we don’t know or who are not part of our wider community. If your application is declined and you feel this is unfair, please contact us to discuss it. We aim to be inclusive while also ensuring genuine participation.

Software Platform

We use free software generously provided and maintained by www.hourworld.org. Any issues related to how the software operates (including functionality and layout) are outside our control.
